9 a.m to 4.30 p.m.) is on the upper level of the Westmorland Shopping Centre.
The Street Markets operate every Wed and Sat 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This location was Briggs & Shoe Mines. Once Lakeland's largest independent shoe shop it has ceased trading. 9. Oddfellows Contemporary Art Gallery 12 large rooms in this building dating back to 1690 offering a wide selection of paintings, glass and sculpture for sale. K Village Factory Shopping K Shoes were established in Kendal in 1842 by Robert Somervell, the letter K (for Kendal) becoming the familiar trade mark for his products. Although much of the manufacturing is now carried out at other locations the Kendal site now houses a shopping village offering clothes and shoes from a wide range of famous brands at factory prices.
